I was in Galway from July 15th to July 28th at the atlantic school.
At 8 a.m. we had to do a test. Speaking and writing. It was a crack kaos. It was so loud that we couldn't even concentrate.
The speaking test took exactly 2 minutes and you determined my level based on the 2 minutes.
I wasn't even allowed to finish the writing test.
The best is yet to come, I had booked a 30 plus course but there were still 21 year olds there and some of them could hardly speak English. So total rubbish. Some rooms don't even have windows. There were four of us sharing a table.
In those 2 weeks I learned grammar once.
The afternoon hours were even worse. The good teacher had never prepared. There was always an A4 sheet for 4 people.
I felt like I was in kindergarten.
I had to wait 2 hours a night for my room key and that when it rained.
