Visitor s center including reception desk with friendly people and free maps. Gift shop, restaurant. and 4 classrooms. Classes can be signed up all year - learning - judged flower shows - make crafts taught by knowledgeable instructions. Field trips short and long. Only drawbacks (not adequate parking; will be increased).
Restaurant more of a cafeteria. You stand in line with your tray. Each item must be explained by two people behind counter (this is necessary because each dish is mostly made up of known and unknown sprouts, vegetables. Small sandwich is $9.00. After paying for items on your tray, you must stop with tray and get napkins and condiments. Now you must look for seating. After eating you must bus your own table. Difficult for older people.
