We booked this space for a family photoshoot- unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience due to the horrible customer service from the unprofessional & disrespectful staff. Staff spoke rudely to us and even used foul language in front of our children.
We used confetti and balloons during our shoot and we were specifically told, by the gentleman that was watching us like a hawk the whole time, that we need to clean up the balloons ONLY. We asked and confirmed this with him numerous times before leaving the confetti as we brought a broom and garbage bag to clean the confetti ourselves but because the staff member assured us that only the balloons need to be cleaned up - we left the confetti behind. At the end, a portion of our deposit was held stating that we left confetti on the floor - confetti that we were TOLD to leave behind!
The room was thoroughly inspected by the staff as we were leaving and no one informed us of any damage to the walls - because there was NO damage. If there was damage and it was as severe as stated in the owner's response on other reviews - why on earth did we get half of the deposit back? And why was the "severe damage" to the wall not mentioned at the time? Surely a "destroyed" wall would require more than $70 to fix - yet that's what was kept stating that it was for leaving the confetti behind.
I normally do not leave negative reviews but accusing customers of doing something that they did not do just to justify the horrible way you treated them is just ridiculous.
Also, i noticed 8 new 5 star reviews in the 1 day since my cousin's first post regarding this issue which leads me to question all of these positive reviews.
