I hate that we had to resort to sending our son here. His stories of being there make me weep, especially as more and more comes out into the open about this place. I wish I could say that I believe these stories are just coming from upset teenagers, but when comparing them to our son's stories, and alongside the many dealings we had with the staff over the phones while he was there and then after we pulled him from the program, I cannot in good conscience disregard all of these stories as fabricated (some probably are).

We pulled him a few months early because he was in need of surgery due to an "accident" that happened there, even though it was downplayed .

However, as heartbroken as I am that our son endured nearly a year there, I do have to admit that now I feel like I got my baby boy back. He learned so much while he was there and he doesnt take us (his family) for granted quite as much and he is more aware if how his behavior affects those around him.
