I really enjoyed this aquarium, which I wasn't expecting to because of the first impression that I got.

I went with my boyfriend and walked up to see a winding line with an hour plus wait time. We left and came back to try to find a slower time to get in, and finally decided to get the tickets and try it out. The prices almost gave me a heart attack - $25 per adult. That's more expensive than going to the whole Minnesota Zoo! We debated if we wanted to spend our money there or try something else out. At the end of the day, we were at the Mall of America and everything is more expensive there. We found out later the best way to do it is to buy tickets online and save about $5. Kids will be about $15 if you buy online.

The Aquarium was a shorter walk that I was hoping because the quality of what I saw was impeccable!! They had interactive rooms with the most beautiful Sea horses that I have ever seen. I have never seen so many sea horses in my life featured like that. They had underwater tunnels where you saw sharks and sting rays swimming in huge tanks all around you. You can tell their animals are well cared for and have plenty of room to swim around. I was quite taken aback with the realization of how huge those tanks actually were.

They have a lot of things going on - from sleepovers under the tunnels - to school trips and VIP passes - which is a great way to stay involved and attract business.

However, I wouldn't be able to afford taking a whole family to go see this, which I wish, because I was at the mall with my mom and two sisters and I very badly wanted to show them the aquarium. I think my six year old sister would have loved it.
