The hospital in general, maybe 2 stars, but two particular individuals deserve 5.
#1 - Dr. Carlos Racedo-Africao
#2 - Nurse Yelena (sp)
Both in MICU.
Despite the almost certain death or permanent vegetive state of my father, Yelena was extremely sweet and caring. She even spoke to my father as if he were wide awake despite him being in a coma.
The Dr was extremely articulate, professional, and honesthones explaining the situation while remaining considerate of the family's feelings. He didn't rush the conversations and explained every avenue of possible options. He even made time to have side conversations with individual family members. He showed no irritation even when dealing with a divided family on the decision at hand. I can't thank them both enough.
