Open letter to a store that I know well and that I have always appreciated but which has deteriorated in recent years.

Let's start with the positives. The fresh products are excellent, far superior to the competitors, be it pastry, cheese, fish and meat, which has always been Carrefour's strong point. Crossroad quality quality products. Fresh products very well presented, grouped in the same place which avoids running left and right as in some signs. There is the essential, less choice than Auchan but still excellent products and ultra fresh thanks to a great rotation. Also Carrefour has very relevant references and there are products that are not found elsewhere. This store is very poorly rated lately, probably because it is less beautiful than Auchan and we do not come to Carrefour for its shopping mall. Annecy is the cradle of Carrefour and this store should be a showcase. We know that purchasing power is higher than elsewhere here, especially with neighboring Switzerland. Too bad that Carrefour did not have the idea to transform this Carrefour into Carrefour planet at the time. Other positive points: the very large covered parking on 2 levels and the new gas station very comfortable.

Negative points to correct absolutely that cause Carrefour lose customers every day: too much waiting at the checkouts (recurring problem) that sometimes breaks the cold chain with fresh produce, staff not always friendly - which is never the case in Auchan where we probably have to insist much more on the reception - especially the catering department with a noisy staff who lets off steam at the end of the day when we make you understand clearly that we disturb half an hour before closing (in this case it is necessary to put a sign that indicates that the radius is closed at 21h) but also a security personnel abrusing during the closure (in Auchan they are much more considerate), containers that hang around everywhere a half an hour before the closing of the store which gives a deplorable image for hygiene (they should be installed after closing even if Carrefour must pay a person half an hour more) and the last problem for me inadmissible is that 2 times out of 3 promotions are not taken into account on the receipt which is never the case with the competition. Carrefour has a big problem with that, a recurring problem that has never been rectified for years, when it would be easy to fix. The settlement would also relieve the reception service where the wait is often long. I was going to forget another problem with frozen products, especially ice creams where there is a lot of frost on the boxes, which is not normal and does not make you want to buy. Personally I buy my ice cream at Auchan now and I must not be the only one.

Problems (often the same ones that have been reported for years) that have never been resolved where the client probably feels like talking in a vacuum and being taken for a c .. which explains the number of negative opinions. By dint of always doing to the economy (for example the recurring lack of open cases especially during rush hour (17h-20h) where waiting is a certainty and stress in advance, Carrefour loses customers Carrefour is a value sure about the quality of its products and that's why I mainly choose this store but I find that the customer service is deteriorating little by little.I think the management should not say only "we take your opinion "but act.
