Arrived at 10pm and was only seen by triage during my 3.5 hour wait. I left prior to being seen by a physician after a nurse told me it would be a while longer. There were very few people waiting and communication was terribly lacking between staff and patients. Several of us had to repeatedly approach staff ourselves for an update. During my wait, one lady was literally crying and vomiting in the floor from her pain and the staff had to be told (by another patient) to come and help her. Absolutely unacceptable! This was my first and only personal experience with an ER but I can tell without a doubt there are some major issues at this hospital... I don t know if resources are lacking or what is the root cause of their inefficiency, but go somewhere else if at all possible.
