The most luxurious hotel in Madrid. It was ordered to be built by King Alfonso XIII so that the capital of Spain will have a large hotel, prepared to receive all the great personalities of the world. In principle it was so exclusive, that only a suit was allowed in, and no actors could enter. Nowadays, its rooms, its hall and its garden give it an air that no other hotel in Madrid has.
