Best meal out we have had in a while and we ve been to some really top notch restaurants. We ve travelled from Natchez to Baton Rouge and even had a foodie tour along the way. Bluegill was recommended by a gentleman we met travelling. The Flaming Oysters are NOT to be missed. I ve had many oysters baked...Rockefeller, Bienville but these have a unique chargrilled flavor that will bring us back from Atanta for more! Hubs had the Bluegill platter - shrimp, oysters and fresh catch. Get it as you wish, grilled, fried or blackened. I had the Bakers Dozen, 6 fried oysters (perfect flavor, light cornmeal batter) with 6 grilled shrimp. Skip the onion rings but don t skip the Key Lime Pie. The service was awesome - ask for Lindsey - but the entire staff anticipates what you need before you can even ask!
