I really enjoy the canoe trail an have used it about six times a year in the past. I thought the $5 fee to launch my kayak was a bit steep, but worth it to me since it's about 12 miles from where I live, which makes it convenient.
Last Sunday I was shocked to find the fee had risen to $10.
While it is a beautiful area, the fee for one person to launch a kayak is really outrageous. I'm sorry to say that was my last trip to this site.
