Really worth a visit. We visited Loro Park as a shore excursion from our cruise around the Canaries. It is a zoo with a difference and its clear that the animals welfare is top of their agenda. It's quite difficult navigating around as the have a whole host of attractions. Laid out over a large area. The map was not easy to use and we ended up using it to look where we wanted to go next and then followed the signs which are located at every junction. Once we worked that out it was much easier to get to where you wanted to. We saw the dolphin show which was excellent and the dolphins clearly enjoyed it. Top tip would be to allow maybe a couple of days to visit as there is so much to see and do. It's been a while since I visited a Zoo and I highly recommend Loro Park. It is also very disabled and push chair friendly as my wife is a wheelchair user and there was only one attraction she couldn't visit (Katanda Tree Tops) because it involved climbing a lot of stairs.
