Ugh.....so disappointed. High priced under seasone...

Ugh.....so disappointed. High priced under seasoned plate of pasta, not even 1 piece of bread or house salad or soup with the lunch. Our waiter only asked if we wanted anything else without recommending any appetizer or sides. Seriously lacking in the upsell there.
The decor is ok but gave off more of a high end pizza joint vibe. On top of that they "provide" their employees health care but charge the customer 3% to help pay for it on top of the 20% mandatory tip for party of 5, plus local and state tax. Seriously, 3% isn't much but the food was overpriced enough that it seemed like the health benefits cost we're already tacked on to the price of food.
The service was just ok nothing above and beyond. I would normally tip 15%-18% for the quality of service we received. I have tipped 50% for above and beyond food and service; we saw our waiter a total of 2 times, once when he took our order and once when we paid the bill.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Sure to anyone who has money to burn that doesn't care if the food and service are mediocre.
