I lost my Medicaid and my case worker cancelled my appointment. I could no longer see the nurse practitioner or get refills on my medication. Even when I was able to see the nurse practitioner, getting a refill was like pulling teeth. I once left 3 voicemails with the nurse. When she finally called me back, she said I would have to "wait it out a couple days." I had to go to COPE and wait 6 hours to get a prescription. Ridiculous.
