We went on a week day morning while school was in session. Not crowded at all. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the trails easy to walk. I did the canopy walk. It is a triangular loop . The walkways sway gently a bit as you walk, but it gives a different perspective of the forest. I didn't do the tower, although my friends enjoyed the view and could see Lake Erie in the distance. We did see parents with strollers enjoying the park and one person in a wheelchair--some trails are paved. There was handicapped parking and the family restrooms near the visitors center were accessible although some assistance might be needed with the doors. There is a small gift shop and classrooms in the visitor center as well as a cafe. We didn't try it, we had a picnic at one of the wooden tables nearby. Dogs are welcome but cannot go on the canopy walk, tower, or in the butterfly garden. There are many benches spread throughout the park if you need to rest and helpful staff ready to help you identify a tree or flower although many are marked.
