Overpriced tourist trap, but good musicians and friendly staff. Went here to meet some tourists colleagues during day, but was put off by the across the board overcharging for all drinks, aimed clearly at US tourists, who will have a maximum of 2. Even cheaper variety of pints were all hit by the 7.50+ premium, even though they are a euro cheaper next door, and there are happy hour prices of half that literally 3 minutes away. The bar itself is rustic and clean, and the musicians are excellent, but the response that they charge high prices because "all bars on the strip (sic) can charge that" was galling, and a horrible indictment that this place - having existed for hundreds of years - is now there solely to fleece tourists as much as the 4 for a bag of "traditional Dublin kebab shop" chips up the road.
