Grant Rollier Review of Anaheim Park Hotel

The first night my family and I stayed at the Sheraton made the the prospect of spending further nights there an absolute nightmare. Let's start with basic amenities. We didn't realize our car would be an extra guest. They charged OVER $20/day for parking at the hotel you are paying to stay at. A detail we didn't find out until check in mind you. Next, unless you are a member of their club, you are CHARGED FOR WIFI. It's 2018 and wifi is ubiquitous, I have stayed at several hotels and never had to pay for wifi. It's absurd nickel-and-diming. But what was so bad about the first night? The beds are so stiff they can only be described as painful. My whole family spent the night tossing and turning, eventually resorting to sleeping on top of pillows cause at least they had some give. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the constant coughing of the people in the next room. And to top it all off the night was pierced by the wailings, moanings, and knockings of the hotel's own employees WHO HAD GONE ON STRIKE! That was the last straw. We went down to speak to the front desk. Not only were they wholly unsympathetic, but they were downright insulting. About their workers causing a racket, "There's nothing we can do.", and about the abysmal beds, "Everyone loves our beds." I don't know who "everyone" is but we certainly weren't included, and given how pompous it all seemed we doubt we're the only ones. Suffice to say we will NEVER be staying at a Sheraton again, and that recommendation will go out to everyone we know.
