I had multiple moments where my eyes got dusty. As a child/teen growing up during the Reagan era, I was reminded of many events I was able to witness due to President Reagan and his leadership.

I remember being in middle school during his assassination attempt. I remember how it seemed like the whole country paused while waiting to hear if he was going to live.

What struck me most were the quotes from President Reagan written on the walls throughout the library. All of them are good lessons for our politicians now, here in 2020.

Reagan had the ability to stick to his values and do what he thought was best for the country, and do it in such a way that friend or foe alike still respected him.

What a great man. What he did for our country was priceless.

BTW - even my 6 and 10 year old kids LOVED the library, especially Air Force One. My 10 year old daughter got into the history and stories so much we all talked American history on the way home.

Regardless your political affiliation - check this place out. We've all something to learn from President Reagan.
