Over the course of this year living in landings it...

Over the course of this year living in landings it was a really poor experience. Previously they lost my contract for my lease, I didn't find out until the month before I was supposed to move in. To solve the problem, they offered me a free installment due to the inconvenience. For the first 6 months I actively went into the office complaining about the extra and over charges they were making on my account and they failed to address it. I went in once every other week. They told me their accountant was on a short leave, they will get to it as soon as possible, all kinds of excuses.

around the seventh month I finally pursued this problem going to their office everyday to complain. Results were finally made. Last month I installed over a thousand dollars of extra credit into my apartment account for my rent. Even after that, they still tried to charge me for the next month's rent. I called in and Absolon (office worker's name) told me I still had almost a thousand dollar credit, it should suffice until the lease is over. And the past few days I keep getting court of claims emails from the Landings apartment to give money immediately or else I need to hire an attorney. They charge for many things, you won't get emails notifying you when electricity bills come in (which is on a different day than when rent is due) nor do you get notified when they make random charges on your account. The only time you get proper notifications from the office is when they believe you owe them money. Best thing is I have called consecutively the past few days to try and clarify the problem with their computer system about the "supposed charges of 84$ Debt" I owe for this month from a check scan made October of last year. I have not been able to get in contact through phone calls at all, I am away from my apartment for summer holidays. It is near impossible to clarify financial mistakes made in their system. The same thing happened to me during New Years during winter break at the university. I will definitely not recommend an apartment company that cannot manage your payments and overcharge you when you have credit. I have to say I am fairly disappointed with Landings. Previously, the management requested whenever we residents living in the apartments to try and make five star reviews on google as often as possible for them telling that they were a great help to build back their reputation. I held back an entire year from making any posts because I wanted to see if their services were actually worthy of a good review. I don't just want to write "absolon helped me out and he was helpful" and give five stars. that is too misleading for future prospect students who plan on living off campus. This was my first year living off campus and I have to say it was not a wonderful experience. I hope the management of resident payments could be improved before the next school year. I truly hope that Chandler Crossing Landings can work towards improving their management to be worthy of higher reviews. I did not want to give such a low review, but I have made observations over a fair amount of time and found myself greatly disappointed.

Quick heads up - the owner posts these responses, but never reaches out.
