I booked my wedding hair here, but luckily I decided to get a practice. I went in, the lady had a terrible attitude, really unfriendly. I show her a couple pictures of a half up/half down wedding hair style and she tells me my hair is TOO long to do that!! My hair is down to the middle of my back, but too long? Really?? I thought that you NEED long hair to do hair styles?? So she says she can "try" and when she is done and shows me, my hair has a huge poof that was not in any of the pictures and the rest of it doesn't look anything like what I showed her. It looked rushed and the curls were all loose (and my hair curls easy). So I tell her its not what I was picturing and ask if she could try it again, so she does... but still, nothing like the pictures at all!! I just decided it wasn't going to work out, paid the $67 and left. Later, I have a family get together and a family member comes up to me and says "I thought you were going to get your hair done today?" (this was only an hour after I got my hair done and I didn't mess with it at all.) It was so bad, she didn't even notice I had just gotten it done!!! Needless to say, I went to get my deposit for the wedding day hair ($57) and they refused to give it back to me! So in the end I got my wedding hair done at Mod in Cedar Falls, and they did an awesome job and everyone there was really friendly!!
