A rather unique dining experience. This was a meal of 2 halves. Lunch was based around a journey by the young Heston. Personally I found the fun aspect of this a bit forced, as the various staff members attempted to drum up excitement at the tables on exactly the same way. The first courses are very much about playing with your senses. This was more fun than the attempts by the staff to drum up enthusiasm and really surprised me at times. The problem I found was the processing of some ingredients to deliver these unusual sensory experiences left them tasting, not unpleasant, but not super delicious. The second half of the meal was a more typical Michelin dining experience which included some exceptionally delicious courses. I preferred this to the earlier courses. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and the fact I m still talking about it 6 weeks later shows how it has impressed upon me, but do be aware of what you are getting yourself into!
