Disappointed doesn't even to begin how I feel about this place. My Macbook Pro would no longer boot up so I looked for repair places in my area. After getting a bad attitude from a guy and one location, I decided to give MouseCalls a chance based off the reviews I read. I go to them and tell them the issue and they said they could test it out and see why it is failing to boot. After about a week or so, I'm told that they couldn't read the hard drive and that was the issue. I was told that if I needed the data recovered, they could send it to a partner of theirs and it would cost me $600-$1200 to get. I ask if replacing the hard drive would fix it and they told me that replacing the hard drive would fix it. So I go buy a new hard drive, reformat it and install it with a new copy of OSX that is compatible with the computer. It still wouldn't boot up. I call them and tell them hard drive was replaced and that it still won't boot. I also bought an external enclosure for $10 so I could see if the original hard drive was actually bad. Guess what, I was able to read the drive and drag and drop any of my files onto my desktop. So for $10 I was able to recover all my data but they wanted to send it off for $600-$1200. What a joke. I paid $80 to have them misdiagnose the issue. I will give them credit and say they offered to take another look at it again for free since they misdiagnosed it. Since I was told it would be free and that it would be moved to the top of their to do list I decided to give them another chance. I had to consistently reach out to them to get updates on what is going on due to them not letting me know what is happening. This was on going for about two weeks. They finally messaged me saying they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and they would have to send it off to another person but they were not sure how much that would cost and suggested that I just get a new computer and that they could get a quote for a new one from them. I wasted $80 and close to a month of time with these people to get no answers. Thanks for nothing MouseCalls. I'll never use your services again.

UPDATE:
After speaking with Alan about my experience, he expressed his deepest apologies and DID make a great attempt to make things right. I do appreciate Alan and Cheryl for wanting to come up with a solution for the experience I had and following through with it.
