I have just been undermined by the delivery person...

I have just been undermined by the delivery person. He encouraged my 10 year old son to sign for the shopping even after I told them 'no'. The driver continued to encourage my son to sign the hand console. Is that legal? can I have my sons doodle removed? and why would the man completely disrespect me, undermine me?
