This review is for Lucy and Christopher, 2 staff members in the dining area of the hotel. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable after the main front desk staff had not provided adequate customer service this morning. If I were to review the their front desk staff this morning, the Downtown Marriott and the Customer Service Help Line, it would not have been as favorable. They oversold our rooms and shuffled us out 45 min away to this hotel. However, this Marriott had beautiful rooms and was very comfortable. The front desk staff at night were great, the ones in the morning were not helpful at all. Breakfast was to have been arranged as complimentary based on the inconvenience and they did not honor it. Lucy stepped in to make it right and I appreciate it. She and Christopher exhibited wonderful customer service. Some of the other staff could benefit from some hospitality training to get up to their level.
