My dog had surgery here and the surgical team was amazing, during and after the procedure. Dr. Waddell was communicative, fair and compassionate. The internist, Dr. Golden, recommended the surgery based on incorrect observations from an endoscopy. When my dog experienced the same issues post surgery, Dr. Golden was not in the office to help. There was no explanation given as to where she was, except that she was unreachable. (Vacation? Family emergency? Some info would ve helped me understand why the dr who recommended surgery that apparently didn t work was not available to treat my dog.) When I arrived 40 mins late for our follow up appointment - obviously my fault - I was told I had to reschedule. I could not wait, which I certainly deserved to have to do. Five stars for the surgical team, zero for the internist.
