I travel a few times a year from SJC and it is easily accessible by public transit: light rail and then shuttle. Driving in is also a breeze.

Plenty of check-in kiosks and security, though the line can be quite long in the mornings, moves briskly. TSA is TSA, so don't expect smiles or pleasant conversations, just straight business.

Enough shops to browse and eateries to grab a bite. Free WiFi works great and charging chairs throughout the place.
