I'm so angry I am shaking!!! My family have been coming to CHOA for over 30 years (my brother was born with a cleft lip/pallet) My daughter has had over 20 I&Ds done in the ER and I have never been told to leave her alone in her room until tonight. She was so scared and nervous. The doctor just said "oh you'll be fine, you're going to be asleep" I AM LIVID!! They flat out refused for me to stay in her room during her 3 minute procedure. I have ALWAYS (9 years now) stayed by her side. Then once I'm ALLOWED back in I find out they never even addressed all her infections (she had three all together) So the doctor poked the third one with her finger and said "oh mom that's just cellulitis. It's fine." I am so angry I don't even know what to do. I know I will never bring her here again. From now Egelston is the only place I'll take her.
