A lot of travelers might miss out on a place like this because it's tucked into a neighborhood and not in some parking lot near a freeway (my usual fare). I gotta say, excellent room, great bed for a side sleeper, and great service. This place has some charm too. The restaurant makes a mean steak, and they were very accommodating and friendly with our toddler. The other huge upside was relaxing walks in serene Oak Park, with some world class pastries in the AM just blocks away. So much better than being marooned in a parking lot. Parking was no problem either. Would stay here again.
