Brought my 85 year old Dad to Emergency room last week.
It was overcrowded and dirty.
They do not have enough privacy for patients.
Wait time was long to see the Doctor.
The nurse guy was unable to even properly put the IV.
He got my Dad bleeding.
Spent a night in emergency room to be admitted.
However, once we got on 17th floor the nurses and Doctors were very nice and knowledgeable. They took good care of my Dad.
They need to keep the rooms cleaner and mop the floor, a bit dirty.
Pantry often did not even have cups. No napkins, utensils, tea bags, etc.
Also, if they admit person from the shelter they should not be put in same room with other patients. It has to be a separate room.
They could be mentally ill, have lots of germs and it is not a good idea to keep them with patients that already sick and very weak.
