An appointment was arranged through the 'Gatekeeper, "Access", )the prior week. On the scheduled day, I arrived early to learn the office opened at 9, not 8:30, as I had been informed.
Once entering the facility, the staff stated a 'walk-in' appointment was not available. When I informed staff this was NOT walk-in, but scheduled via Access, staff stated she knew of no such service called Access. Subsequent phone calls resulted in locating a person who saw I HAD arranged an an appointment..I ncourage others to email the Wayne County Mental Heath Board with your concerns
