We came here the night after our wedding a few years ago and loved it. We've wanted to come back ever since. That was a mistake.

When we finally returned, the line to check in was out the door. We eventually made it to the counter and they put us in the wrong kind of room and had to move us. They directed us to park in a lot that was full, but because of the one-way roads, we actually had to exit the grounds and re-enter to get back, where we checked the closest lot, which was also full. Finally, someone was able to point us to another parking lot on the opposite side of the grounds.

After we walked across to the building we were staying in, we got to our room and found the keys didn't work. I returned to the counter and was given new keys, only to be told that the arrow on the key should point out, not in, when inserting the key in the door. I returned to the room and opened the door, now over an hour after we first arrived on the property, to discover that every light in the room was a bright, florescent white that, even at it's most dim, was straining on the eyes. And by this point, it was too dark outside for us to walk the grounds as we had originally intended to do.

We received vouchers for complimentary Valentine's day drinks at the restaurant, but they did not apply to the Valentine's day cocktail menu, only to standard cocktails. After reading the horror stories in the reviews about the complementary breakfast not actually being complimentary, I'm terrified of what the morning will bring, and am looking forward to checking out as soon as possible.

It was such a disappointment that we don't intend to return again, although we were planning an extended stay later this year. We will now be staying elsewhere.
