When ever I bought Hick's thermometer,it has some manufacturing defect.
I bought one today from near medical, surprisingly it has ISI mark,and it has fixed painted strip from 36 to 38, means no reading possible.
Earlier I bought another same brand(looks in Maharashtra they sell only Hick's as it might giving much more profit than other brand),that was not giving any reading.
Never buy Hick's branded items.
