I was at the Serrano Caucaia do Alto Supermarket (downtown) today. I went to the butcher shop and ordered a kilo of duckling that was for R $ 17.90. Even though a piece had already started on the counter, the butcher's boy took another one from the freezer that hadn't been cut yet. I was surprised and what was not my surprise when I got home. The butcher sold me hard ham. A tough, edgy flesh. They sold me a pig in a poke. How absurd! I was deceived. I must think ten times before buying meat at Supermercado Serrano.
