My grandmother passed away at Mackenzie Health and my wife visited their ER twice this year due to a broken toe and then a broken right foot. In all 3 cases there's nothing major to complain about. The ER tries to triage people as fast as they can, but you may end up spending anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on how many people they have there.

When speaking about long-term care, my grandma was taken good care of at Mackenzie Health, but unfortunately there wasn't always a nurse available who spoke Russian. Given how multicultural Richmond Hill is, you'd expect elderly people in long-term care who do not speak English. As a result, the hospital should have multilingual nurses who speak Russian, Farsi, and Mandarin, in addition to English. That way, most major ethnic groups present in Richmond Hill will be accommodated.
