Zachary Pappas Review of Schomp BMW
I was a Schomp customer for 2-3 years... and then ...
I was a Schomp customer for 2-3 years... and then all hell broke loose and I never looked back. Over the past few years I have bought a used car and leased two from Schomp. The fist two were a pleasure and then I leased my second car. Well lets just say service ended up being a disaster. So much confusion in the service department. I had ordered all season tires that literally were ordered when I signed the papers to lease the car and didnt arrive until 3-4 month later. Extremely annoying. I would show up and they service department would give me the wrong information and actually caused me to be without my car for an extended period of time (yes I was given a loaner, but its the premise of crap service). They somehow managed to put my last name in the system and wouldnt get my first name right. I pulled up in my M4 and they asked: Here to replace your tires for your X5? Really?! Prior to this I was told that my tires were in.They were not. Im assuming that this was due to the confusion in names. This was after I drove an hour in traffic from Denver. I had ordered a replacement part and actually walked away from the parts counter because they couldnt find the part that I had ordered and actually went in because they had called me to tell me that I should go down and get the part I had ordered. Then they couldnt find it? I simply walked away after 20 minutes of waiting. Lastly, I wanted to order a new 2016 M4 before the 2017 model was out because of the differences in warranties. I called and they said: We cant order that car. You have to wait until September/October and order the 2017 model. We dont have anymore access to the 2016 allotments. I went to Murray yesterday and took delivery of my 2016 M4. For a car that was close to $90,0000 I felt as if I had better service from a Toyota dealership and come to think of it, I did when I serviced my 4Runner this past month. So Schomp I dont know what has happened, but I wouldnt go back there. I was offered compensation by having someone bring me a loaner and taking my car down to Highlands Ranch but it still didnt really impress me overall. It would have been nice to have been told that if I purchased my next car with them I could have gotten a break on pricing. I won't refer friends and family there.
