As a second generation native San Diegan, I'm very familiar with the Ocean Beach community and the iconic James Gang OB Seagull emblem. When ever friends say they're visiting San Diego for the first time and ask what they should do and see, I always tell them to visit OB and be sure to visit James Gang and buy something with the iconic seagull logo on it to always remember their visit.

Currently living in New England, I naturally miss my hometown and not just during the frigid winter months. And while I have several JG hats, mufflers and t-shirts, I recently contacted them and asked if they could put the I-8 and seagull logos on a couple of my blank t-shirts. Naturally they were pleased to do it and the customer service was 5 STARS.

From James Donahue who processed my order like a pro and as pleasant as humanly possible, to Jim Berdeguez the owner, everybody treated me like family. So for a taste of San Diego like you'll probably not experience anywhere else, I encourage anybody visiting San Diego to go see James and Jim at JG and purchase a high quality garment with the iconic seagull logo for a long lasting and fond memory of your first visit to San Diego.
