I agree. I've met some of the most caring staff at the Hospice of East Texas, HomePlace. They have encouraged me when I needed that and laughed with me too. My father couldn't be in a better place and he is doing so much better than when he entered the hospice 2 weeks ago. That is a direct result of the love and attention and care he has received from the nurse's aides and nurses all the way up to the physicians and even the chaplain. What a beautiful facility it is and so much more than merely a beautiful building, although the building and grounds are lovely as well. There is a chapel where prayer requests can be written, a quiet room and cozy library and plenty of space in the rooms as well. I am running into people I've known for years who also have loved ones there. Kindness goes a long way for families dealing with end of life issues. I will say a prayer for the caregivers, as I reflect on the wonderful people I have met and know by name. Top notch facility which is like a home. Thank you all
