Most honest and in-depth review you will read about this place:
We went for Father's Day and got there when they opened. The line length for getting in was not horrible and the price wasn't horrible either. But for many reasons....
The lack of signage for where things are was bad. Especially when the place was SO crowded. The maps show a big pond/fountain in the middle of the park, which is actually a small swamp full of garbage and huge swarms of carp fish (no fountain). The maps also don't tell you where you currently are. And there are no maps that you can take with you around the park. The dry rides are kind of hidden up a big hill with trees with no direction of where to go to get there besides the crappy, outdated map.
The staff were a bunch of uncaring teenagers. When I went to buy food for my family and our friends, the teenage girl at the counter barely knew what to do and kept saying, "Wow. That's going to be spendy. Ooo that's going to be a lot.". All food options were gross and there was nothing healthy.
30-40% of the rides were not functioning. And the ones that did function sounded like they were about to bite the dust as you rode them. Freaky.
We stood in line for 20 minutes to go on the lazy river. There is no limit on how long people can stay in but you can only go in with the supplied floaties. When I finally got to the front of the line with my 5 year old, the guy said it was the "singles line" which means you can only get on the single floats, not the doubles....which I obviously can't go with my non-swimming 5 year old. The only thing that specified it was a singles line was small font on the sign at the front of the line. So we didn't get to go and my daughter was really sad. Oh, and it's all burning hot black top. Who the hell puts black top in a water park??
The wave pool is just tiny little waves every once in awhile. And it was PACKED. There are not nearly enough seats for people. Barely any for a water park in fact. Some people brought their own chairs and were camping all around, blocking paths. There was no structure. The whole place was unorganized, unprepared, untrained, unclean, NOT maintained. Oh, and there are no towel rentals, so BRING TOWELS.
PRICES: A souvenir cup was $10 and you pay $1.29 for refills.
Meals were $8-$11. Locker rentals were $10. Ice cream was $5-$7.
And not that this is relevant....but the people here were....interesting to say the least. So, if you're looking for a confidence boost....go people watch at the water park. Silverwood Theme Park is in Idaho, and believe it or not, I think there were more imbred people here than in Idaho. I thought I was going to stumble upon someone's tooth while in the water park.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
