I admit mistakes happen and I was one that did something I shouldn t have. I was looking at a misdemeanor and thought my life and career would be over. Jason helped calm my nerves and yet was very honest with all outcomes. If you want sugar coating, you may want to reevaluate why you are hiring an attorney to begin with. I would rather take tough love and transparency rather than someone telling me things I only wanted to hear.

Jason was very thorough and explained not only all the outcomes but also addressed any concerns I had. He didn t sugar coat it but he did always have a good explanation of why things would/could go certain ways. I was glad cause I at least knew the worst case outcome but if you asked him his honest opinion he would give it to you.

With that being said he got the misdemeanor reduced down to two different plea deals with both pros and cons. I took the reduced to a petty offense plea for my own personal reasons. This whole experience was eye opening over a mistake. However, I am glad Jason and the Shazam Law team helped me through it. Everyone I encountered was very friendly from Malory and the others that I spoke with. I didn t feel judged meeting with them and they took time to get to know me instead of the idea of me.
