I love this tiny, little store in Grand Central and visit it frequently, especially around the holidays when they have the most adorable Lionel Train show. There are nice but pricey souvenirs, like Lenny the Lion of Lionel Trains, and a singing teddy bear who sings,"I've been working on the railroad." The train show, whichi is only on display around the Christmas holiday and a month or two afterwards, is to die for, with the most adorable replicas of tracks, track workers, trains, train stations, replicas of stores. There are Thomas the train books and toys, teddy bears, beautiful MTA metro card holders, pot holders, MTA socks, umbrellas, lots of souvenirs. Lots of fun stuff and no pressure on you to buy. Plenty of adults as well as children go there and spend time watching the trains go around. Free entertainment, and their hours are much longer than the larger MTA Transit Museum in Brooklyn.
