Lovely location. However, BEWARE of the front desk/reservations department. Had trouble getting a confirmation email when I booked this hotel. Requested the email one month before the trip. Number of persons in my party was incorrect. Requested a second email 5 days later with the corrected information. Showed up at hotel and was told the "Total Cost" listed on my confirmation email was incorrect due to a "System Error" and that I would be charged an additional 1560 pounds. WHAT??? I was also charged for 3 breakfasts during my stay that were supposed to be included. That has been refunded but the best the hotel could do about my bill was charge me 780 pounds instead of 1560. I am not a happy customer. Why am I expected to pay for this hotel's mistake? Tried to work things out with Marta, Front Desk Manager but I still feel like I am left with little recourse in this matter. WATCH THE CHARGES ON YOUR HOTEL BILL VERY CLOSELY! This hotel has had at least 3 general managers since 2016 so there may be some behind the scenes chaos going on here.
