As a loyal customer to samsung products, it's dissappointing to say that another greedy company will take advantage of an educated customer who has tried to remain loyal.
So when I saw samsung was offering the best trade value for the samsung 8, I purchased it directly from samsung. I kept my phone in good working order so, I would receive the maximum trade in value when I wanted to upgrade the phone. I had no glass cracks and the memory was wiped clean after receiving the new phone. I then packaged my old phone, faithfully following their directions to get the trade value they offered.
Only to receive an email that my phone was not eligble because it did not meet normal wear and tear condition.
I called and the 1st representative I spoke to said the box may have been dropped in transit. I replied that I repackaged it in the same boxes and wrap that I received the new phone in. He offered to submit a dispute form and they would be in touch. The dispute was declined with no additional information.
My 2nd appeal to customer service was met with a dismissive woman who said she was submitting a new dispute. And since I have not received any response from anyone, I figure that woman is a representation of the company. Dismissive! SO I'M OUT OF THE TRADE AMOUNT AND A PHONE, with no details. They dont seem to care about the customer, just the sale.

So, with Christmas coming, remember, dont just think of the quality of the gift, look at the quality of the company and their customer service. Especially samsung.
