The price was very reasonable compared to other Union Square hotels. It is clean and the staff are very friendly. Use the concierge desk, they were great to us. TIPS: This hotel is 100 + years old. If you're looking for a modern hotel, you'll be disappointed. There is no air conditioning... And most of the time this will NOT be an issue. Simply open the window and turn on the ceiling fan. Just be aware. I have traveled quite a bit and I slept better in this hotel than most...regardless of age or price. I strongly encourage you to look at this hotel if you want to stay very close to Union Square for a reasonable price. RECOMMENDED.
