My wife and I had just finished up hitting the coffee shop (Reverie Roasters) across the street based upon the excellent recommendation of a friend.

Our next planned stop was Guitar Center to buy my wife a ukulele (although she didn't know I was also planning on getting her an upgrade to her first guitar as she had reached the point where it was limiting her progression). When we saw the sign across the street we Googled it and saw all of the great reviews and decided to give it a shot. Boy were we glad we did.

Phil greeted us and got us started. Since we were looking at acoustic electric guitars and he felt Justin was more familiar with the controls on the pre-amp he asked Justin to help us the rest of the time.

Both Phil and Justin were great. Neither my wife or I appreciate pushy salesman but we also recognize our limited knowledge and want to be able to ask questions and get knowledgeable answers. They were both the perfect mix of letting us do our thing but being very available for questions. They didn't try to talk us into anything, just did their best to educate us.

They let us play A LOT. We probably tried most of the acoustic electric guitars, most of the ukeleles, all of the mandolins and some of the banjos. In the end we decided on a great sounding acoustic electric guitar, a really nice ukelele and a really nice mandolin.

After all of that they threw in some nice extras like guitar and ukelele strings, a guitar strap and so on. They have a luthier as well and he checked everything over while we went to eat just to make sure nothing needed any tweaking (included in purchase price)

Price was competitive with what we found on the internet and after the extras was better than what we found on the internet.

All in all it was a really fantastic experience. I would recommend them to anyone.
