Hello Travelers :) i was in Hamburg between 12 th to 15 th 2017 and for this short vacation of mine i have chosen to stay Generator Hamburg. I have to admit i was bit skeptical when i booked the hostel but i can proudly and without any hesitation say that i did the best chose.

First location: perfect location as you come from airport to central station by train which cost you 3.20 euro it takes 25 min the last stop is central station as soon as you step out of the station (depending on which exit ) hostel just in front of you you can not miss it amazing location !

Checking in : Very fast, professionally done smooth and easy.

Staff: Everybody is very friendly ready to help smiling and very please to help you. i have spend some good time of mine at the lobby by using my laptop and had the chance to listen conversations between quest and staff at the reception, they are really helpful and professional!

Room: i was bit worried when i red some reviews that showers and wc are too small (I am a big guy !!!) but i can tell you that they are small however thrust if i managed to take a decent shower and do my business relax and cool place everybody can do that ! my room was very clean all was safe and sound did not have any problem in my room except bit smell was coming from the wc which was not an issue i kept the door close all the time and it did not bother me at all ! Bed was ok i have seen much much much much worst. I always travel with my own shampoo and soap and other staff there is no need to be such a gypsy and complain about if there is shampoo or soap in your room you are not at Hilton :) bring your staff with you !

Breakfast: very nice decent breakfast, not much but enough to give you good kick for the rest of the day!

Atmosphere: Very cool interior design there is always nice music at the lobby, live music some nights, lots of young travelers, families, business man, solo travelers you can meet interesting nice ppl.

There are many options around the hostel when it comes to food you wont be having any difficulties to feed yourself in fact opposite of the hostel is a Turkish area where you can find many kebab and staff restaurants with supermarkets in case you are halal food chaser.

since the hostel next to the main station you can travel everywhere by train easily but try to walk the city and discover by yourself.

Overall ,If you are looking for a accommodation that is reasonable with friendly staff last but not least location wise ideal to all touristic attraction you can rent it and enjoy your vacation like i did :) i will be back again hopefully
