I am very proud to work for this organization! Not only do our patients and families receive exceptional care, the employees are well respected and appreciated also. The Hospice of East Texas serves anyone in need, regardless of their financial status. Our physicians are incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Our social workers are able to make magic happen by provide our families just what they need when it seems impossible. Our hospice aids and nurses build strong relationships with our patients as we visit often, providing intimate care. The chaplains provide copious amounts of love, support, and prayers! Our volunteers are our backbone: they do so much behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect. They, also, build strong relationships with our patients and families by providing a friendship like no other. Bereavement services are available, not only to families served by Hospice of East Texas, but to ANYONE in the community needing a little extra help dealing with the death of a loved one. We even have a very special children's program that helps our kids to cope and recover from loss on their own level!! What a service HOET provides to our community, and does a GREAT job all the way around!
