I'm giving this place a one star because while the food is pretty good, it does not excuse the poor service I received on two entirely separate occasions.
The first time, the staff rushed us to finish the entire time we were eating. One of the servers also spilled hot tea on my friend. She didn't even apologise or try to help clean up the mess and instead said "your arm shouldn't have been there." That was last year.
Today, my family and I went there again to get dimsum, expecting a better experience. Unfortunately, it was the same thing. The main server was unfriendly. We kept having to ask for essential condiments despite them knowing we had a big group and couldn't just share one, tiny plate of chili oil. We felt very neglected and found it difficult to communicate with the staff. Only one server was truly helpful during the entire meal. And at the end of the meal, my family still tipped the server despite the poor service. But it didn't end there! Our main server scoffed at my family and said "that's all your tipping?" Honestly, it was so rude from start to finish. The food isn't good enough for me to want to come back again. There are better places with even better service elsewhere. I won't be recommending this place to other people I care about.
