Mom had surgery which left her with an ostomy bag and lots of stitches across her stomach that needed to heal. Mom was in shock with how to handle her medical condition and needs and the staff members at NuVista helped her to get through this transition so she could get home and be independent. There is a large staff of physical therapists and occupational therapists who guided Mom through exercises, strengthening, doing daily chores around the house and caring for herself. Mom had help walking and being able to go from the walker to back to walking normally. We appreciated the cleanliness of NuVista and the friendliness of the staff members. Mom was happy with the food served which made her stay at Nu Vista Rehab in Wellington a positive experience because at first she did not want to eat and that changed. My business associate fell and needed some rehab and I recommended her to Nu Vista because I could honestly say it is a good place for someone you care about to have their rehab.
