The Transit Musuem has to be one of the best values in the city. If you haven't been there before, it's easy to imagine that its small or limited in content, but once inside it really opens up. The typical museum exhibits are great, but seeing the historic subway/cable cars is a must. Worth well over the proce of admission ($10). If you're interested in history or just museums in general, the New York Transit Museum should be on the top of your list.
