We are from Australia and we flew into JFK late at night from London after visiting our daughter in the UK.

Carmel was recommended by an agent of Amex who is a relative of our son-in-law. We received a great recommendation from this person and we checked Carmel out.

I saw some negative reviews before booking but given the recommendation we were prepared to give Carmel a go - and are very glad that we did!

All I can say is that we could not have had a better experience.

We were picked up on time and the very obliging driver was courteous, professional and friendly. He even waited and assisted us to find the key safe to get into our accommodation at about 1.00am.

I don't know anything about the experience of others but we could not be happier and like our Amex contact, we will be recommending Carmel to others visiting New York - including my brother in a few weeks time!

Since using Carmel I was asked to review their service and later became aware of an offer to pay $10 or discount a further service for sharing a positive experience.

I may or may not qualify for such a benefit but whether or not I receive such a benefit, is immaterial because I would have been happy to acknowledge great service anyway.
